Fishery Promotion
Through the cooperation of industrial, governmental and academic sectors, our division improves the aquaculture techniques of Kaohsiung City, holds aquaculture workshops at regular basis and carries out feed inspections to ensure the safety of fish. By cooperating with the seafood process industries, we wrapped tuna, squid and mackerel spike as "Marine treasures of Kaohsiung" gift packs for special occasion.
Fishermen’s Association Assistance
In order to improve fishermen's benefits, the division tries to integrate the fishermen's association and provides financial aid for fishing vessels insurance, emergency assistant when fishery disasters occur.
To make sure the fishermen's associations run accordingly, the division provides council and holds required meeting for fishermen's associations in Kaohsiung area.
